Examples Worth Mentioning

Last week at our Women's Bible Study one of the girls was sharing a portion of Scripture with the rest of us about the choosing of the twelve disciples. I may not be one of Jesus "official twelve" but I definitely consider myself a follower of Jesus.

She shared with us that Jesus' disciples had four things in common. They were all:

Available

Flexible

Teachable

Dependable

Made me think of how I would rate as a follower of Jesus. Do I hesitate when I have to put one my projects aside for the Lord? Am I willing to change my plans completely if God tells me to? Do I want to change and be transformed by Jesus? Am I always dependable?
