Relaxing in Cordoba

We are making a quick stop at an internet cafe to check our emails and make plans for the rest of our trip. We are now in the town of Cordoba, in southern Spain. It is a beautiful town. In its day, it was one of the largest towns in the world. We have enjoyed walking down quiet streets, eating tapas, taking naps and taking in beautiful sights of mosques and gardens.

Southern Spain is quite different from the rest of Spain, just as this part of our trip has been different from what we did in Madrid. After running around and seeing people for a week, it has been nice to relax and enjoy a slower pace of life.

Looks like my time is running out. Time for dinner is approaching and tonight we´re planning on tapas. Tomorrow it´s on to Rota, to see where Michael grew up. รง

Missing you all...wherever you may be!

P.S. I wish I could upload pictures, but being at an internet cafe makes it hard. I promise we´ll upload many beautiful pictures when we get back!
