Days O' Fun

The Central Valley of California is a wonderful place. Not everyone thinks so, but it has become one of my "homes" as I have lived life. Come on, where else would you find a chicken at a gas station??!?! Ok, it was out in the country in the little town of Earlimart. I'm sure you'd find chickens at gas stations in many other places, including other countries, but I was quite excited to see one today while we were pumping gas.

These last weeks have certainly been a whirlwind of excitement and it certainly will not stop anytime soon! After spending the last ten days or so with my parents and all my family we have once again returned home. But not for long...

Tomorrow morning we take off for another adventure: Urbana '06. We are returning to the conference where we met! As always, we seek the Lord's direction for our lives and what His will is for us...wherever that may lead us! So, pray for us during these next days as we set aside time to seek the Lord.

And then the fun of visiting family will begin once again after that. We've got family in Illinois and Indiana who we are going to visit. We are quite excited!!!

I'll try updating and posting while at Urbana. More than anything, it might be a way for me to "talk about" what we've been learning. Hasta pronto!
