He Loves Me


If you are cold, tea will warm you. If you are too heated, it will cool you. If you are depressed, it will cheer you. If you are excited, it will calm you.

On Saturday I helped plan a Ladies Tea for our church. Even the ladies who aren't necessarily the "tea time" kind of ladies enjoyed it. There is such sweet fellowship when God's people come together. We all had some delicious food together (each woman brought some goodies), encouraged one another and heard each others stories.

Towards the end we each went around the room and shared how God had shown His love to us. You see, I had explained that it is tradition that when you have a daisy you pick of each petal and say, "He loves me, He loves me not, He loves me..." You know, right?

But God's daisies are different. As we pick the petals of the daisies that God gives us we realize that...

We never have to say "He loves me not about God. God loves us unconditionally. What perfect love! I am fortunate to be blessed with a wonderful husband, family and friends who love me. I sometimes think to myself, "How could it get any better?"


It makes me think of the Apostle Paul's words in Ephesians 3. How can we ever grasp God's love for us? We have but small glimpses of God's love. One day we will understand this love completely.

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Ephesians 3:17-19

Bella, you are the Lord's beautiful daisy in whom He delights...and I am so blessed to have you in my life!

I am so glad that you had a tea party! Tea parties are such a beautiful way to fellowship and be reminded of the Lord's royalty...every time I go to have high tea or just get together for tea, I am reminded of the Lord's soothing touch upon my soul each day and of His perfect fragrance in my life. His Spirit is the fragrance to our lives that guides our thirst and hunger to be more like Him!
