"Now he uses us to spread the
knowledge of Christ everywhere,
like a sweet perfume.
Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God."
2 Corinthians 2:14-15
I read this early one morning this week as I attempted to wake up. What? I'm supposed to be an aroma to God? And a sweet-smelling one, nonetheless?
I don't know if you're like me, but I'm not always sweet-smelling. Yes, I shower, use deodorant, spritz on a little vanilla body spray (I DO love vanilla, don't I?) and try and keep hygiene as an important thing on the list. However, my attitude, actions and the lifestyle I live are also called to be a Christ-like fragrance.
On a scale of 1-10, where are you on the Christ-like, sweet-smelling fragrance?
I think I've got a bit of work to do!

Thanks for a fun synopsis of our weekend together! Love, Aunt Nancy
Yep, you are right, I am sure not that close to the 10 on the scale in regards to the inner fragrance...The Lord reminded me of that today through your post and I thank you! This verse should be one of our daily mottos, right? What blossoms, what fruit and what a blessing would exude if we were and tried to be a Christ-like sweet smelling fragrance!
