Sleep Deprived?

We've been doing our best around here to fight sickness. So far Michael and I seem to have been able to avoid it - Elena has not been so lucky. I got to write it her baby book today - "Elena's first time being sick". Poor baby! She got sick on Monday but she's been a trooper and still smiles and is her usual cute self. It was hard to be with her a couple nights ago when all she did was cry and cry and nothing we did could console her.

I put Elena in her johnny jumper today and at one point it started getting really quiet and I turned around and look what had happened...


Yep, our dearie fell asleep. She doesn't usually fall asleep while at play but I guess it was just too much today. I just thought it was too cute to pass up!

In other news, we are taking pictures at a friend's wedding this weekend. Michael is the photographer and I'll be his assistant! Elena will be hanging out with Grandpa and Grandma Kauffman and making sure they behave. :)
