Yosemite, How I Love Thee...

Seriously, Yosemite has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. Michael and I have made our goal to go there at least once during each season. Next on our list is going there during the winter. We've heard its beautiful and we have to see it for ourselves!



Since there are lots of evergreen trees at Yosemite, most of the leaves weren't changing color but it was beautiful, nonetheless. And it was Elena's first time there. She just added to the beauty!

Of course, we enjoyed a picnic lunch and then walked around a bit. It was such a beautiful day and the weather was just perfect. Elena didn't understand why we didn't let her walk into the water. (Side story: The other day I was filling up the tub with water so Elena could take a bath. I walked out of the room for a second and I heard a loud noise and then crying. I walked into the bathroom and I saw Elena, still in her pj's, completely soaked and crying uncontrollably. She fell into the tub while trying to grab a toy. That girl! She was just fine but I think she was scared.)




We drove around the Yosemite Valley and saw some of the main sights. We decided to head home before it got dark. Elena sure loved her back seat companions!
