He Walks With Us

I've been feeling sad lately. It's just a part of life, isn't it? Sadness when you watch the health of a loved one decline. Sadness when things change that are out of your control. All days weren't meant to be "happy" days.

In times like these, I hold on to God and His promises for my life all the more:

“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name, you are mine.

When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you; and through the rivers,
they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire
you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you.

For I am the LORD your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.”

Isaiah 43:1-3

Our Savior is not far from us. He walks beside us. He is walking beside me right now.

I think we all feel sad these days as we think of grandma, what she has meant to each of us, and what life will be like without her. Thanks for your encouraging verses and for sharing your heart.
