Sunshine Through The Clouds

These last days have been busy days. Between having guests over on the weekends, housework, and the regular stuff I do during the week, I've been keeping pretty busy. Of course, planning for our upcoming trip to Spain is also taking up a fair chunk of time.

God's really been working in my life lately. Somehow being married and moving away from home makes you have to grow up. God is becoming so much more personal each day and teaching me new things and changing me.

I've really been thinking a lot lately about how I spend my time and what I do to glorify God. I don't want to waste my time doing things that don't matter. I want to bring praise and glory to God in all that I do. I fail so many times, yet the sun always shines when a new day starts.

This morning when we woke up the sky was cloudy. I don't especially dislike cloudy days, but I am definitely much more of a sunny skies type of girl.

I was looking out the window this morning and thinking about life and pleasing God. All of a sudden the suns rays started shinning through the clouds. In that instant I was reminded of God once again, and how each day in Him is new. Each day is a chance to start over, to serve Him, to praise Him, to give Him everything He deserves.

And I am thankful for that.
