With Us Always

"...and surely I am with you ALWAYS."

I have always liked this verse (found in Matthew 28:20). The God of the Universe that came to earth as a baby and then 33 years later went back to heaven is with me all the time!

Today I spent some time watching kids videos. This Sunday we are having a special "movie day" at church and we're watching a video on the miracles of Jesus. I've read the stories many times and sat through countless Sunday School stories about the miracles of Jesus.

It's so easy to just take the miracles for granted. He changed water to wine, multiplied food so that 5,000 people could eat, healed blind people, raised a man up from the dead and later, He rose from the dead also.

When I really stop and thing about it, these miracles are astounding. Why don't we see miracles as often these days? God's Word is filled with these miracles and that should be enough for us to get a feel of God's power. As humans we are always interested in the supernatural, aren't we?

The same God that performed all those miracles that awed so many thousands of people that witnessed them lives is alive and at work!

It comforts me to know that this God is with us ALWAYS - to the very end of time!

Ann,

So, so true! Why is it that we only read of miracles these days? Wonder why we don't experience them for ourselves??

Thanks for the encouraging reminder that God is always with us! That, in of itself, is a miracle to me....

The miracles of Jesus...He gives them to us each day...we just have to listen to God's whispers to our hearts and then see His mighty works...it is indeed so comforting to know and be reminded that He is with you, with me, with us all always...may you experience His miracles today and for ever more!:)
