A Valentine's Excursion

Although it had rained on Thursday, Friday turned out to be a beautiful day. The sky was blue and the weather was warmish so we decided to venture out for a little excursion. Earlier in the week I had asked Michael if he would spend all day Friday with me on a date. We decided to venture up to the Mission San Luis Rey up in Oceanside.

The drive up the old Pacific Coast Highway was beautiful and we enjoyed doing something a little different from the usual. By the time we got to Oceanside it was almost lunch time so we drove around looking for somewhere to eat. After a delicious meal at an Italian restaurant we continued our drive down to the Mission San Luis Rey.

The day couldn't have been more wonderful and I thoroughly enjoyed spending it with someone special. Well, actually...that would be two someone specials. Now that we are family of three there is always one more person!
