On my walk this morning I was listening to one of my favorites. Most of you have probably never heard of him. However, there is a small percentage of you that will agree with me when I say that Marcos Vidal is one of the best! He's an artist from Spain - one of the few Christian singers. His music is SO good. I just wish I could translate all his words so that you could see the beauty. I love speaking English but there is just something about the Spanish language that penetrates my soul. The words and the music are so heartfelt.
This is for those of you that miss Spain (or your home country). I listened to this song today and I was practically in tears on my walk today. It's called "Face to Face" and it's all about what it'll be like when we are standing face to face with our Savior. What will we say? What will we do? To behold the beauty of the Lord. To gaze into His face. To be lost in His glory. Beholding Our Master face to face. How beautiful.
If you'd like to watch a video of the song it is here.
Solo dejame mirarte Cara a Cara
Solo dejame mirarte Cara a Cara
Solo dejame mirarte Cara a Cara
Dejame llorar pegado a tus heridas.

Oh, Ann, I wish you were here with me so I could take you on a walk around the Caribbean beauty...there is a little road up our apartment that curves in with countryside-like scenery and sounds, and then curves up into the other side of the ocean leaving your imagination dance...the weather has been beautiful and as we are getting closer to packing and flying back to CA, both David and I are becoming a bit nostalgic about this island and the Caribbean in general...every time we take this walk, we are reminded of the Lord's beauty through the sunsets, the ocean, the green, the little goats, the birds and colorful flowers...and then we can barely imagine what it would be like to stand before our Savior...your song is beautiful and indeed the words do penetrate to the deepest of the soul...I have a Romanian Christian CD and somehow every time I listen to it, I get a more subtle grasp of the Lord's love...
Thank you for sharing the verses and these great insights!
