A Small Tribute to the Grandparents

Elena is truly blessed and she doesn't even realize it - but I'm sure she feels it! She is loved by so many people in her life. Her four grandparents love her and she loves them. It's interesting for me to notice her interaction with each one of them because she's found her little "niche" with each one of them and knows who to go to for what!

Before we left on our last trip to Fresno, we spent an evening with Grandpa and Grandma and cousin Grace even came down for waffles one night. Here is Grandma Ta and the girls reading together...

Last week we went on a date night and Grandpa and Grandma took care of Elena. Well, they had a date night of their own and took her to Ikea to run around. Grandpa took a video of Elena running around the store. She was on the loose! And Elena gets to have special Grandpa time almost every week when he takes us out to lunch. Its great!

In a previous post, I told you about our trip to the Central Valley to see Abuelo and Abuela. Besides meeting and seeing friends, we also got to spend some time with Abuelo and Abuela, obviously!

Being with Abuelo and Abuela is a big treat as we don't get to see them as often. But our times with them are special and we make the most of them! One evening, Elena helped her Abuela make dinner. Here she is "helping" chop up veggies.

And Elena always likes to sit on Abuelo's lap when he watches the evening news. And while she's at it, why not try on his hat as well?

And lastly, here is Elena and her Abuela coloring together. Of course, Elena gets distracted with something else along the way but that's par for the course these days!

Thanks, Grandpas and Grandmas for taking such good care of our little girl and loving her so much!
